In the First-Level Reiki course, students will be introduced to the history, principles, and practice of the Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho system of natural healing. Through lecture, small group discussion, personal reflection, and hands-on practice, students will gain the tools to establish their own daily practice for mind/body balance.

The Second-Level Reiki course is offered to students who have already completed Level One Reiki. Those who have studied with a different teacher may apply.

Participation in all 10 hours are necessary to receive the full transmission of teachings.

Andrew Anders is the founder of the Michigan Reiki group. He is a professional Reiki teacher and liability insured Reiki practitioner trained in two Reiki Ryoho lineages:

  • Usui Shiki Reiki Ryoho tradition as per Robert Fueston of The Reiki Preservation Society

    • Dai-Shihan in the Usui-Hayashi-Takata-Gray-Comee-Fueston lineage

  • Usui Reiki Ryoho as per Frans Stiene of the International House of Reiki

    • Shinpiden graduate of the IHReiki system of Frans Stiene and Bronwen Logan (Stiene)

These two approaches to Usui’s Reiki method form the basis of Andrew's teaching style and treatment protocol. He began his Reiki training and practice in earnest in 2005. He is an advocate for the sincere and credible communication and presentation of Reiki with emphasis on the roots and founding traditions of Mikao Usui’s Reiki Ryoho.
