About the Kirtan Yoga Event:
Come join us for an evening of meditative bliss and communal harmony at our Kirtan event, hosted by Harmony Collective. This event promises to be a soul-stirring experience. Kirtan is a call-and-response style of chanting to live Indian music that involves the audience singing mantras and spiritual hymns, making it a participatory and uplifting form of meditation.
Whether you are new to Kirtan or a seasoned participant, this event is open to everyone and is designed to help you connect with your inner self and with others. We believe in the power of community and shared spiritual experiences to foster peace, joy, and unity. Admission is by donation, and all contributions will go towards supporting future events and activities organized by Harmony Collective.
About the Harmony Collective
Harmony Collective is a community-based organization in Ypsilanti dedicated to creating spaces for spiritual growth, self-discovery, and communal harmony. Through a variety of events such as Kirtan, meditation workshops, and wellness activities, they aim to provide a sanctuary where individuals can explore and deepen their spiritual practices.
Their mission is to bring people together in a loving and open environment that encourages spiritual exploration and connection. By offering donation-based events, they strive to make their activities accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. Join them in their journey to cultivate a more harmonious world, one soulful chant at a time.
Their music team consists of kirtan practitioners who have been immersed in Bhakti yoga for more than a decade. They bring through kirtan the love of the Divine alive.
