Rentals

The Enlightened Soul Center & Shop has 3 types of rentals:
(a) Rent our rooms on an HOURLY BASIS (for classes or events, or to see clients for appointments)
(b) Rent a treatment room on a MONTHLY BASIS (for 6 months or a year-long contract)
(c) Serve on a “DROP-IN” BASIS: Sign up to be an onsite practitioner during certain hours and, if you get any customers who come in or call, you would pay us 25% of any paid sessions you have here that day.

The Center has 2,674 square feet with one large Event Room, one medium-sized Back Lobby, one medium-sized Classroom Kitchen, and one treatment room for rent (Room 6). Additional small treatment rooms may be available for rent with advance notice. We have compared our rates and room sizes to others in the area and we know you'll find us very reasonable, with many benefits!

Coronavirus Policy

If you are a healing practitioner, and may be working in close proximity to your client, we expect you to ask your client if they prefer that you wear a mask, even if you are fully vaccinated. And of course, practitioners will only touch the client during the service if agreed upon. In addition, please clean and sanitize the bodywork table between each client.

We invite others to book our spaces for one-time or ongoing groups, events, classes & workshops, and private sessions with clients! Like-minded events that are open to the public will be listed on this website and on our social media and Meetup, and promoted in a monthly email newsletter to our mailing list.

 

PRIVATE EVENT RENTALS
 

We rent the center for private events, such as:

This is a PERFECT retreat location because there are two small breakout rooms, one large main room, and a kitchen equipped with table and 6 chairs, sink & counter, microwave, electric tea pot, and small refrigerator.
CO-WORKING / Office Space
 
Tired of working from home? We have central A/C, several printers, free WIFI, a kitchen with a sink, microwave, electric teapot, coffee maker, small refrigerator, several private rooms, and lots of tables & chairs. PLEASE CONTACT US about renting time to use our space as a "home away from home" office!

EVENT/MAIN ROOM: (Calendar code: ER)

SIZE:

462 square feet 

Capacity: 8–9 seated people physically distanced 6 feet apart 
Otherwise: 25 in circle, 35 in rows, 16 seated at tables

FURNITURE:

Two rocking chairs, 7 padded wooden chairs, side tables, tv trays. 
Standard 6-foot tables and screen for video/Zoom (to use with your laptop) available upon request.

Padded folding chairs available on rolling rack.

Large meditation floor cushions (zabutons) and small round cushions (zafus) in storage closet.

 

RATES:

Weekday daytime rate (M-F): $12/hour

Weekday evening rate (after 5 pm M-Th): $16/hour

Weekends (daytime Sa-Su or evenings F after 5 pm-Su): $22/hour

MINIMUM $22 fee for public events requiring promotion.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your space.
Cancellation up to 2 weeks before a weekday event or 1 month prior for weekend events (Friday night–Sunday) absolves you from owing the rest. Please reserve at least 48 hours in advance.

With easy chairs and end tables, sink at one end. Functions as waiting area when not rented.
Advance notice required, to alert treatment room renters to vacate their rooms prior to the event.

325 square feet 

Capacity: 10–12 seated people physically distanced 6 feet apart 

Otherwise: 20–25 in circle with small chairs, 12 seated at tables

 

FURNITURE:

6 easy chairs with end tables between them, standard; small padded folding chairs and/or tv tray tables/card tables or 6-foot tables available if needed, OR all furniture removed if needed.

 

RATES:

Weekday daytime rate (M-F): $11/hour

Weekday evening rate (after 5 pm M-Th): $14/hour

Weekends (daytime Sa-Su or evenings F after 5 pm-Su): $17/hour

ROOM 6: (Calendar code: Rm 6)
 
For Room 6, please reserve at least 48 hours in advance if possible; for urgent rentals, after filling out our form, please text or call Julia Levin at: (734) 355-4994. 1 week cancellation in writing allows you a refund. 15 minutes extra set-up & clean-up time may be charged for massage sessions and other sessions requiring set-up/clean-up.

110 square feet

Capacity: Individual 1:1 sessions or small groups (2–4 people)

 

FURNITURE:

Chairs for readings/coaching/counseling, etc. (Conversely, chairs can be temporarily removed and placed in the back lobby, if extra room for bodywork is desired)

Bodywork table, head pillow, bolster pillow, head cradle

Table for card reading available upon request

RATES:

Weekdays (daytime M-F til 5 pm): $10/hour

Evenings after 5 pm or Weekends : $12/hour

MINIMUM $22 fee for public events requiring promotion.

Cancellation up to 1 week before the reservation for public events allows you a refund.

To check rental availability or reserve space:

 
  1. Consult our Calendar. (If you are interested in a date that's already taken, please let us know — often, a repeating event can be moved or cancelled.) Multiple concurrent activities can usually take place during the same time in different rooms; if you are unsure whether a date is taken, please contact usRooms are coded by their initials: ER = Event Room, Rm 6 = Room 6, CR = Classroom/Kitchen, BL = Back Lobby, CTR = Entire Center (i.e., no other rental allowed when the entire center is taken).
  2. Read about our rooms.
  3. Read our Terms & Conditions.
  4. Fill out our Inquiry Form (We will hold your requested date for a few days as "tentative," until you pay the non-refundable deposit. After the deposit is paid, the date is confirmed.) Please apply at least 48 hours in advance. For events on weekends (Friday night–Sunday) using the Classroom, Back Lobby, Event Room, or Entire Center, the cancellation policy is 1 month in advance; for other rooms and weekdays, 2 weeks cancellation notice is required. For massage rentals, please bring your own linens and add 15 minutes to your rental for room set-up and clean-up. Thank you!
  5. After submitting the inquiry form, an automatic email will be sent by “Google Forms” to the email address the renter indicated in the form, confirming the successful submission of the form.​
  6. Upon receipt of your Inquiry Form, we will contact you to confirm/ask questions within 48 hours.
  7. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL from "rentals@enlightenedsoulcenter.com" within 48 hours (PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER FIRST), or you need to get confirmation quickly, please text or call Julia Levin at: (734) 355-4994. DO NOT ASSUME THE RENTAL IS OK until you have a confirmation from us, thank you!
  8. Pay 50% non-refundable deposit for the Classroom, Event Room, or Entire Center. (We will email you a PayPal invoice from rentals@enlightenedsoulcenter.com to pay with credit, debit, or PayPal, unless other payment arrangements have been made.) The other 50% is due by the day of your event, for which we will also email you a Paypal invoice from rentals@enlightenedsoulcenter.com. IF YOU DON'T SEE OUR EMAIL, PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER. We also accept checks payable to: Enlightened Soul Center. Drop off check or mail to: 2711 Carpenter Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48108.
  9. CANCELLATION: Read our Cancellation Policy on the Terms & Conditions page.
  10. If your event is public and you wish us to promote it to our like-minded audience, please send an event description, bio and headshot of presenter, and logo or graphic image for the event to: amy@enlightenedsoulcenter.com. (We will use these for our website and social media.) MINIMUM $22 fee for public events requiring promotion. If this is a private event, no photo/bio nor description/image will be needed.

PLEASE NOTE: On occasion, a renter may be asked to move to another room to accommodate another rental customer, depending upon expected attendance and usage requirements for the rentals (making noise, needing space for movement exercises, or needing quiet for meditation, etc.). We hope that renters will work with us to accommodate everyone in this shared community space. Thank you!
