About the ADVANCED READING PRACTICE CLASS for the Public:
People often explore their intuitive gifts in classes, then lack "practice opportunities" once the class ends. There are others who have discovered their intuitive abilities on their own, and developed them with online classes, but lack avenues for in-person confirmation. Further, there may be people who wish to become proficient in a new intuitive modality that they have learned, and then wish to try it out on others before venturing out into the world with it. THIS CLASS IS FOR ALL OF YOU!
Students will practice giving readings in private or semi-private areas of the Center, with instructor Amy's oversight, culminating with sharing/de-briefing at the end of each class. You can use any modality you want: cards (as long as you don't need to consult the book), pendulum, photos, psychometry, crystal reading, etc. But pure psychic reading without "tools" is great too! Tools can be there as a back-up.
For the first 1 or 2 weeks, students may give readings to each other (similar to the "Speed Reading" exercise from Amy's classes, but longer time periods). The following 4 or 5 weeks, students will practice with "the public" — i.e., invited guests of other students and/or other members of the Enlightened Soul Center community whom Amy knows. The "clients" will be aware that this is a practice class and, since they aren't paying you for the readings, the pressure is OFF! This creates a safe practice space, without performance anxiety.
It is anticipated that this will be an ongoing class cycling every 5 or 6 weeks, with students welcome to repeat the class series as long as they want.
The difference between this and the "Reading Practice Intro Class (How to Be a Reader)" is that in the Intro class, there is more discussion & instruction about best practices, and practice is only with other students in the class. In this class, there is mainly practice, practice with invited guest "clients," & debriefing (with just the class) afterward, to compare experiences.
