About the Beginner's Astrology Class Series
This beginners class in Tropical Western Astrology is designed to give students the tools and knowledge needed to read a Natal Birth Chart for themselves and others.
Students will get a foundational understanding of the 12 Astrological Signs, the 12 Houses, Planets (Luminaries, Planets, Select Kuiper Belt Objects and their rulership), The Four Elements, and the Three Qualities. This prepares students to increase their learning capacity in all areas of astrology going forward.
Learning the Astrological Symbols is also included in introducing concepts of transit. The understanding of these foundations prepares students to utilize other tools and increase their learning capacity in all areas of astrology.

ABOUT Sheryl Orndorf: Astrologer, Tarot Reader, Reiki Practitioner, Guided Meditation and Sound Bath Practitioner, Ordained Minister
Sheryl’s astrological journey became a focus in 2016 while finishing chemotherapy treatments. A lifelong interest became a true hobby as she unlocked the knowledge of numerous traditions, studying world religion and astronomy while studying for her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications, 2001.
Sheryl’s studies illuminated patterns from undergraduate courses, and the study of Astrology, Tarot, Ancient Civilizations (Archeology), and Religion became a passion when she recognized they all blended together. This intrigue led her to studying Frequency Science (Singing Bowls (Tibetan), Reiki (Japanese), drum (Native American/African), and Sacred Geometry (Universal Patterns).
Her interest in Ancient Civilizations culminated in in-depth travel to support her knowledge of art, science, and sacred power spots: Mexico in 1991, Italy in 1997, Malta in 2019, Egypt — with Robert Edward Grant, Polymath and Mathematician — in Feb. 2025, and Greece and Turkey in Nov. 2025.
Today, Sheryl is focused on helping others gain insights into astrology basics for implementing into their life, for better outcomes and preparedness.
Sheryl holds a Master of Business Administration, 2004. She was Ordained as a Priest in the Order of Melchizedek in 2024.
