Raindrop Technique originated in the 1980's based on Dr. Gary Young's research work with essential oils and the fascinating information he learned from a Lakota medicine man named Wallace Black Elk. It's considered to be:
"One of the safest, non-invasive techniques available for spinal health" —Dr. Gary Young
Raindrop Technique incorporates 9 essentail oils (7 singles and 2 blends), which are applied to the neck and to the back, along the spine. Basic massage techniques are used to disperse the oil over the areas and relax the recipient.
This class if fully hands-on. Participants work in pairs and, over the course of the class, each person in the pair with receive and give a Raindrop session.
Participants should bring with them:
-
1 set of twin-size sheets
-
Additional top blanket, if desired
-
