About the Divine Feminine Yoga Class
Feminine and masculine are two aspects of the world that can’t exist without each other, like a coin can’t exist with only one side. The balance between these two aspects is key. Unfortunately, the modern world functions in a way where masculine qualities are often given priority over the feminine, bringing misbalance into the reality of life.
Every human being, male or female, should reconnect and acknowledge the sacred feminine energy within them to live a more vibrant life, full of love and free of fear, bringing balance back into the world.
During this workshop, various yogic techniques such as asana, mantra, and pranayama, combined with intentions and affirmations to the Divine Mother, will be used to create a powerful experience for you. The workshop will help you to activate your prana (vital energy) and have it rise from the base of your spine, through all your chakras and into infinity, uniting with the Divine Feminine Absolute, leaving you in a blissful state of unity with the Universe.
Things to know:
-
No previous experience or knowledge required. All levels are welcome!
-
Please wear comfortable clothing.
-
Tea with fruits will be served after the workshop.
-
Bring your yoga mat (in case you don’t have one, several yoga mats are available to borrow at the center)
-
Refrain from eating a full meal three hours before the workshop and do not eat anything one hour before the workshop (unless needed for health reasons). Any heaviness in the stomach can negatively influence the rising of your prana.
-
Eating a healthy meatless diet and refraining from caffeine consumption the day of the event will additionally enhance your experience.
-
A small altar will be set to honor the Divine Mother, feel free to bring an offering (prasad) of fruit or flower for the Divine Mother. We will share the offerings at tea time after the workshop.
