This is an opportunity to learn the basic beliefs and practices of tribal medicine people. Attendees will be given the opportunity to try out drum and rattle healing, and to go on a drum (trance) journey to meet their personal animal helping spirit.
If you like this, you can sign up for classes that Marjorie will be teaching at the Enlightened Soul Center during the year, beginning with three Shamanism Fundamentals classes in January-March (repeated March-May), followed by four Advanced Shamanism classes May-June.
ABOUT Dr. Marjorie Farnsworth, MBA, MHt, PhD
As a shamanic practitioner, Dr. Marjorie Farnsworth works with bright, ambitious, mostly positive people who may be struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, and depression, and who have not been able to find relief through the usual channels of psychology, counseling or psychiatric medications. these people would like to reclaim their power and happiness in life. Some also suffer from scattered thinking, chronic issues with fatigue, illness or misfortune, or who cannot remember the last time they felt joy. Still others feel like they never fit in anywhere, and struggle to find their direction in life.
Dr. Marjorie has been practicing Shamanism for 17 years, in additional to being a clinical hypnotherapist, life coach and professional public speaker. She owns three businesses in Ann Arbor: Spirit Assist Shamanic Healing, Spirit Assist Hypnotherapy and Life After Corporate. She started her businesses after working as a middle manager for the Fortune 500 for almost 25 years, living in the Far East for over 2 years, traveling around the world, and earning master's degrees in both Chinese Literature and Business Management.

About Intuitives Interactive
For Intuitives, Indigos, Empaths, Starseeds, and others wishing to explore metaphysical topics with like-minded individuals. Meets on the first and the third Sunday of the month, 2:30-4:30 pm. Doors open 2:00 pm. Social time 4:30-5:00 pm. There is usually at least one psychic reader and one energy worker/healer available after the Intuitives presentation, with whom attendees can book a session at reasonable rates or for a donation.
Our goal is to create a safe space for people to hear about the intuitive experiences of others and to share their own. This has included group discussions, presentations, psychic development exercises, and social time for people to get to know each other better.
$5-$10 donation required to cover venue rental, supplies, and facilitator/speaker compensation - we want you to participate in the flow (Law of Giving and Receiving).
