Make your own medicine drum while learning the history behind the drum's use. Instructor Ed Robertson will provide all materials and you will leave class with your completed drum. Ed steam-bends each 14" frame from solid aspen wood, secured to make a very durable hoop. Ed prepares the skins and provides other authentic materials required for a quality, life-long drum. The drum skin and the lace that holds the drum together is made of deer. As the participants lace or string the drum skin onto the hoop, they will be putting their own essence or spirit in the drum.

This class gives a comprehensive understanding of the arts & practices of spiritual drums. Ed will teach about living a spiritual life, including offering daily prayers, daily gratitude, and thanking the creator for all the blessings of life. You will not simply be making your drum, but also will be taught the ways of preparing for your journey of the drum & its spiritual, soul relationships to your health, well-being, and spiriting connection of oneness to yourself, the drum, & the ancestors. The care of your drum is also covered. 

This is not only a class, but a lifetime experience in becoming One with the music, pride, & soul of your drum.  

There is a $50 non-refundable deposit to be paid at least 3 days prior to class. Upon completion of the class, the drums will given a Shamanic blessing by Ed. The quality and durability of each drum is guaranteed by Ed.

About Ed Robertson:

Ed Robertson has been making drums for 10 years. He has many years of experience in Shamanic practice, and through his guides has helped facilitate many physical healings. His spiritual teacher was a full Cherokee Shaman called Earth Thunder, who hand-picked him as a apprentice. Ed performs soul essence retrieval, mediumship, spiritual counseling, and much much more. He believes he has been a Shaman Practitioner for thousands of lifetimes.
