About the Shamanic Sound Journey

Do you want to connect with a deceased loved one when the veil is the thinnest? Or do you want to receive guidance from a past master or mentor in your field? Or connect with a former beloved pet? Or just see what Spirit has to express to you?

Mary Ledvina will lead you in connecting with the spirits to receive guidance, healing, and reassurance. First, you will be guided to set your intention for the journey, then we will cleanse our energy and call in the directions. You will be given the option of drinking cacao, which will enhance the shamanic journey, specially made for this time. After the journey there will be time to journal about it, then you will be given journaling prompts to continue connecting to Spirit and guidance. Sharing your experience will be encouraged at the end.

Cacao — a raw, unprocessed type of chocolate in liquid form — will be provided, but drinking it is optional. The primary purpose of drinking cacao is its ability to foster emotional healing, spiritual growth, and connection through its heart-opening and mood-enhancing properties, which can facilitate introspection, release emotional blockages, and bring about feelings of euphoria and bliss. Spiritually, cacao acts as a plant ally or teacher, helping to deepen meditation practices, connect with intuition, and align with one's true purpose and inner wisdom.

PLEASE BRING:

A cup or chalice for hot liquids (to use for the cacao),

Journal and pen

Eye mask or scarf

(Amy adds: Consider bringing ear plugs if you are easily distracted!)

Anything else (pillow?) that you need to be comfortable laying down on the floor. Blankets, meditation cushions, and some pillows will be available. A few rocking chairs are available for those who have trouble laying down.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to get cacao and make your "nest". DUE TO THE UNINTERRUPTIBLE NATURE OF THE EVENT: NO ENTRY AFTER 2:15 PM!

Mary Ledvina (she/her) is a writer, artist, healer, coach, teacher and trained cacaoista. She has found profound healing and guidance from going within using cacao with shamanic journeys.

Mary is a former massage therapist who now heals through creative practices like writing, art, and music. She has taught Nature Journaling, Plein Air Poetry, The Artist’s Way, Writing, Visual Journaling, and Art Journaling.
